JKGovernor assents Bills in Assembly

Srinagar, October 04 (Scoop News) – Secretary, J&K Legislative Assembly Mohammad Ramzan today informed the Legislative Assembly that eleven Bills which were passed by the House of Legislature have been assented by the Governor.

These Bills are “The Jammu and Kashmir Development (Amendment) Bill, 2011 (L.A. Bill No. 22 of 2011), “The Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2011 (L.A. Bill No. 23 of 2011), “The Jammu and Kashmir Property Rights to Slum Dwellers Bill, 2011 (L.A. Bill No. 24 of 2011), “The Transfer of Property (Amendment) Bill, 2012 (L.A. Bill No. 1 of 2012), “The Jammu and Kashmir Non-Biodegradable Material (Management, Handling and Disposal) Bill, 2012 (L.A. Bill No. 2 of 2012), “The Jammu and Kashmir Nursing Council Bill, 2012 (L.A. Bill No. 3 of 2012), “The Jammu and Kashmir (Residential and Commercial Tenancy) Bill, 2012 (L.A. Bill No. 4 of 2012), “The Jammu and Kashmir General Sales Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2012 (L.A. Bill No. 7 of 2012), “The Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 2012 (L.A. Bill No. 8 of 2012), “The Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Bill, 2012 (L.A. Bill No. 9 of 2012) and “The Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety (Amendment) Bill, 2012 (L.A. Bill No. 10 of 2012).
