Joe the Plumber Entertains Prospect of 2010 Congressional Run

Again, one might end up asking: Who is this “Joe the Plumber?”

Joe the Plumber is Joe Wurzelbacher of Ohio. So far the name of Joe the Plumber was brought up during the second United States Presidential debate between GOP Presidential nominee Senator John McCain of Arizona and Democratic Presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois.

Earlier in October, Wurzelbacher had attacked Obama’s tax plan on wealth redistribution. Wurzelbacher has been extremely instrumental on the McCain campaign’s attack on Obama’s tax plan.

Today, Wurzelbacher was interviewed by conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham.

Several days ago, at a rally in Florida, McCain invited Wurzelbacher to join him on the campaign trail.

While talking with Ingraham, Wurzelbacher had something interesting to say. So far, Wurzelbacher is entertaining the thought of a Congressional run in 2010. Should that be the case, he would be competing against Democratic Representative Marcy Kaptur.

So far, Ingraham and the National Republican Congressional Committee are giving Wurzelbacher their support.

We support Joe the Plumber and people like him everyday with our support for lower taxes and energy independence,” said Ken Spain, the spokesman for the NRCC.

But, who really knows what Wurzelbacher’s chances are should he choose to run against Kaptur for the seat in the US House?

In a nutshell, Joe the Plumber is contemplating a 2010 Congressional run. However, we will have to wait until 2010.
