Joseph Edward Duncan III, convicted killer, and federal prosecutors have decided on 61 people to be potential jurors on Duncan’s death penalty case.
Joseph Edward Duncan III was found guilty in 2005 for kidnapping two children and murdering one of them in Boise, Idaho. Duncan plead guilty to 10 federal counts.
The 61 potential jurors will be narrowed down to 12 and three alternates next week. The jury will decide whether Joseph Edward Duncan III will serve life in prison without parole, or receive the death penalty.
