According to Jorge Sá Couto, Chairman of JP-IK, “Education plays a crucial role by creating the foundation that will provide for economic and social development at national and international levels, and developing needed skills such as the focus on innovation and entrepreneurialism. JP-IK participation at this Forum is a great honor for us, as it validates our long-term vision and provides us with the strength to move forward onto this path. By sharing our experience in many countries and regions, with very different Education requirements and development levels, we have created a unique knowledge on how to best implement Education solutions with governments and we’re pleased to share that knowledge with such a distinguished audience.”
The 2016 Forum will offer three days of insight and inspiration from leading Education pioneers, policy makers and Education experts, with many of the sessions given by Education ministers providing a very accurate assessment of countries’ common issues and challenges.
Vision, strategy and execution define JP-IK@Education
Education plays a pivotal role to advance societies, foster inclusion and support national economic development initiatives, as digital knowledge becomes a key tool in the skillset of future professional workforce, regardless of industry or function.
Since 2008, JP-IK has been a prominent stakeholder on the Education market, with a very unique value proposition – the ability to design, execute and deploy turnkey Education solutions for Governments worldwide. That capability is a result from a strategic long-term investment on Education, understanding its uniqueness and specific needs as well as of the definition of the relevant partnerships with the best technological partners in the Industry. As part of that long-term vision, JP-IK has developed a tiered approach, addressing the high-level and policy implementation needs, as well as the needs from Students and Teachers.
On the latter, JP-IK has developed mymaga (http://www.mymaga.eu/en), a brand whose products can be found in retail spaces and SMB channels in Europe, providing unique products aimed at students and their families, including specific features that address these usage scenarios. At a national level, JP-IK has a complete set of competencies and professionals able to work closely with Governments to develop the most demanding Education solutions, at a local, regional or national level. The broad scope of national projects already developed make JP-IK an ideal partner for Governments that aim to implement Education solutions for their citizens.
As recognition to the unique knowledge that JP-IK has of the Education ecosystem and requirements, Jorge Sá Couto has been invited to be a patron of Virtual Educa, an organization within the Organization of American States that aims to create a space for multilateral cooperation in Education and innovation targeting development and inclusion. The patrons meet once a year and the goal of the group is to provide the political endorsement and specialized counseling on the definition of global strategies for Virtual Educa.
