We all know that Justin Timberlake is a triple threat. He can sing, dance and act– not just in major motion pictures, but as he takes a comedic spin on Saturday Night Live. So if you’re making bets about what the former pop star will do next, don’t put your money on music, put it on spontaneity.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Justin admits that he is unsure if he will record another album.
“I really don’t know. I wouldn’t say I’m not going to put out another one. I would say that would be a bad bet, if you were betting. But I could see myself only doing one more big tour," he explained.
Justin has spent most of his life focusing on his passion for music. He last released his second solo album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, which was followed by his 2007 world tour FutureSex/LoveShow. Since then, he has shifted to his other passion to act, with starring roles in The Social Network, and upcoming films Bad Teacher (June 24) and Friends with Benefits (July 22).
Now, according to In Touch Weekly, he is going down quite a different path.
“I’ve never really given myself the opportunity to be spontaneous,” he said. “I figure I can go on like this until the end of the year. I don’t have anything I have to do. The only job I have to do is promote the films that are coming out, and I’m really looking forward to that. It will be fun. I’ll get to go to a bunch of countries, hang out.”
Justin told Entertainment Weekly that although he does not know in what capacity he wants to be involved, he will never stop making music.
We will love JT no matter what he decides to do, but fans will agree that it would be a sad day for music.
