Jammu, February 26 (Scoop News) – Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM), today demanded deferring the elections of Municipal Corporation Jammu till correction and updating of voters lists is made.
Jammu West Assembly Movement president Sunil Dimple also demanded as all the development of the Constituency after cross voting by MLAs has been stalled.
Sunil was addressing party activists in Jammu today. He said that Coalition Government in the State is hell bent to conduct these elections by unfair means without following the proper norms and by discrimination with Jammu region for which out of 16 ULBs, 12 ULBs are in Kashmir while only four are in Jammu region. Similarly, the government has increased ten wards in Srinagar Municipal Corporation while increase of wards in JMC has not been done, maintained Dimple.
Earlier protest demonstration was held led by Sunil Dimple president JWAM to Oppose the forthcoming Jammu municipal election,
The protesters raised slogans against the collation government.
