Jyotibasu wants to be relieved from the CPI (M )Polit Bureau

    The veteran Marxist leader,one of the founding members of the undivided communists party of India,now an nanegenerian, aged 94, wants to be relieved from the polit bureau of the CPI (M), in which he has been a member for over a period of 44 years.

    Mr.Jyotibasu has written a letter to  the CPM General Secretary Mr.Prakash Karat expressing his inability to attend the forthcoming polit Bureau meeting shortly going to be held on 26 th of February, 2008, in Coimbatore.The main reason for his inability is his poor health especially his stomach ailment and his inability to endure long journeys either by air or train.Mr.Basu has been asking for releif since 2006, when he was directed by the party to continue in party post upto 2008.

    Mr.Basu is awaiting the reply from his party.
