Kaimosi Teachers’ Training College to become a university soon

Yesterday, the governor of Vihiga County visited Masinde Muliro University of science and technology to have a chat with MMUST administration on how to establish a constituent college of MMUST in Vihiga County.
The governor, Rev. Moses Akaranga was in campany of the minister for education science and technology Vihiga county Mr. Elnanus .A. Vodoti.
The two together with the vice chancellor Professor .A. J. Sikoti and MMUST officials discussed the way forward in ensuring there is a university in Vihiga County as per what the constitution which states “each county should have at least one university.”
The identify Kaimosi teachers Training College to be a suitable place to allocate the university. The visit is aimed at upgrading Kaimosi Teachers’ College to be a university college.
