Srinagar, October 01 (Scoop News)-In order to condole the sad and sudden demise of Ajesh Kumar, Joint Registrar, Cooperatives, a condolence meeting was held in the Civil Secretariat Premises today which was attended by Chief Secretary, Commissioner/Secretaries to Government and a large number of Kashmir Administrative Service( KAS) Officers. While speaking on this occasion, the speakers highlighted the personality and gentle nature of the deceased Officer.
The participants expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
Earlier, during the meeting of Commissioner/ Secretaries (COS) held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, deep sorrow was expressed on the sad demise of the said Officer. Two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul. The KAS Association has expressed gratitude to the Government, particularly, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Secretary GAD and Director Estates for extending full cooperation and providing State Chopper in order to airlift the dead body to Kishtawar for last rites.
Chief Secretary, Iqbal Khandey has expressed condolence on the sad demise of Joint Registrar Cooperatives, Mr. Ajesh Kumar, who died yesterday in a tragic incident.
In a condolence meeting held here, attended by Administrative Secretaries and officers, Chief Secretary expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family.
The meeting also observed 2-minutes silence to pay respect to the departed soul.
