Pakistan – Islamabad: Latif Khan Khosa the Pakistan’s Attorney General said that Pakistan could ask for the custody of Ajmal Kasab the lone surviving terrorist who is being held in India through Interpol.
Latif Khan Khosa has said the Pakistani court trying the accused involved in the 26/11 Mumbai Terror attacks which kills more than 170 People, could ask for the custody of lone surviving terrorist Ajmal Kasab through Interpol. Such kind of warrant could be processed through Interpol
He said “If our investigators submit a challan against the suspects for their involvement in the Mumbai tragedy, a trial court can issue warrants for physical custody of Ajmal Kasab,”
The Attorney General was explaining trial procedures to a group of media personnel in his chambers in the Supreme Court. On Wednesday the Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani hinted that Pakistan could consider sending a team of investigators to India in connection with Mumbai probe.
Earlier Pakistan admits that there is link in attack. Khosa said it was to be seen how the Indian Government reacted to the proposal of sending FIA investigators to that country.
