Kashmir Div Com employee accorded farewell

Srinagar, April 05 (Scoop News) –Bashir Ahmed Balkhi, Naib Tehsildar Srinagar was accorded farewell by the Revenue Officers and Patwar Association. The farewell party was chaired by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon and was also attended by Additional DCs Srinagar Mohammed Aslam Qadri and  Nazim Zai Khan, Tehsildar South Srinagar, Hamidullah Mir, Tehsildar Nazool, Tehsildar Budgam, Tehsildar Settlement, Srinagar, OSD with Div Com Kashmir,  Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars, President,  All J&K Patwar Association, Afaaq Ahmed Shopiani, President, Patwar Association Kashmir, Mohammed Yasin Mir and staff of Div Com office and DC Srinagar’s office, as well as President, Revenue employees association G.N. Khan.

            Speaking on the occasion Div Com urged the Revenue officers and officials to work with dedication, sincerity and devotion. He highlighted the work done by Balkhi during his tenure and asked the employees to make Balkhi as their role model. He lauded Balkhi for his straightforwardness and promptness in handling all matters. He asked all the persons present that they should strive to work with honesty and sincerity, irrespective of their positions. He said that the officials should be sincere towards the people and their duties, without any discrimination. He said that Revenue is the backbone of all departments. Samoon informed the Patwar Association that Government is keen to ensure that the Revenue department is strengthened and assured that all matters including DPC are being resolved on a timely manner.

Earlier, the Addl. DCs, Tehsildar Srinagar Hamidullah Mir, All J&K Patwar Association Afaaq Ahmed Shopiani and President Patwar Association Kashmir, Mohammed Yasin Mir also spoke and highlighted the multifarious role of Balkhi. Div Com presented a shawl and memento to Balkhi.
