Kelly Marie Sweet, 25, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy at her apartment in March. She was a teacher at Deer Creek Intermediate School in St. Francis, Wisconsin.
Kelly Marie Sweet was sentenced to 25 days in jail and two years probation for assaulting the child. She received a lenient sentence and had her charges lowered from a felony to a misdemeanor because of her guilty plea. She will also be forced to forfeit her Wisconsin teaching license and register as a sex offender for the duration of her probation.
The original criminal complaint said that the 14-year-old boy was watching a movie at Kelly Marie Sweet’s apartment when the teacher made sexual advances on him, kissing and groping him.
