Kerala’s News Papers Got their Hit news for tomorrow. The Kerala police have arrested Santosh Madhavan for being involved in an alleged fraud case. The police is interrogating Madhavan but have refused to disclose the location.
The thirty-five-year-old god man of central Kerala Santosh Madhavan was running for cover from the police ever since he was accused of fraud by a Dubai-based Indian woman.
The woman accused Madhavan of cheating her of Rs 40 lakh. The police raided his 16-suite ashram in Kochi on Sunday and found pornographic CDs, foreign liquor, ganja and tiger skin.
Earlier, the Kochi police commissioner Manoj Abraham had said that they registered a case under the wild life protection act, which is a non-bailable offence and Madhavan can be arrested on these charges.
Santosh Madhavan, on his return from Dubai in 2002, had founded a trust called ‘Shanthitheeram’ and built a palatial ashram in Kochi. The ashram was used as a guesthouse to accommodate his clients, which he claims include politicians, film stars, policemen and businessmen.
