The Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina said that the opposition leader and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will pay the price for not participating in the national election. She commented this yesterday at the rally organized at Satkhira Govt. Boys High School ground.
The PM said that those who are protecting the war criminals of 1971 will not be spared. She also said that the BNP’s political hand Jamat making the peaceful people of Satkhira more angry. “Those who killed people, make people leave their home by doing terrorism acts, will not be spared in the land of Bangladesh”- she said.
Sheikh Hasina addresses the Chairman of the opposition party as a peace destroyer, and moreover she said that whenever the people of Bangladesh are in peace, the “peace destroyer” uses its political hand “Jamat” to start violence. She also said that the politics of BNP is full of corruption and terrorism. BNP murdered many Awami League leaders one by one- she added. Many houses and business places were looted and burnt by BNP activists, as a result many people lost everything they belonged- she said.
About the recent election activities Sheikh Hasina said- “Recently the High Court has given a verdict about Jamat’s terrorism activities. So, that’s why Jamat could not participate in the national election. BNP was hurt and greatly shocked for Jamat, that’s why BNP didn’t participate in the election as well”.
“Khaleda Zia made a great mistake for not participating in the national election, which is she realizing now, but she has to pay for her mistake in the near future”- said Sheikh Hasina.
