Jammu, December 16 (Scoop News) – Kashmiri Hindu Youth Font today demanded one-time financial aid to the tune of Rs.25 lakhs to the overage Kashmiri Pandit youth.
Ajay Raina, President,Kashmiri Hindu Youth Font said that those who had gone overage needed to be given one-time financial aid to the tune of Rs.25 lakhs per head so that they are able to invest that money in setting up small industrial units.
He said that despite repeated reminders the Government too not step in this direction.He said if the Government was not willing to pay Rs.25 lakhs let it absorb this cctegory of youths in Government departments on contract basis.
Mr Raina blame the J&K Government for playing with the sentiments of the displaced people by not filling up the the remaining 3,000 posts that had been placed in the state sector under the Prime Minister’s employment package.
He appealed to the state and the central Governments to formulate a special job package for the internally displaced youth so that they were able to lead a normal life.
Mr Raina in an appeal to Government urged it to take immediate steps for passage of Hindu shrnes and Temples Bill for protection of the shrines of Hindus in Valley.
He demanded that Pandits be declared as minority.
