Kidnapped Boy Found After Ten Years

Eleven years ago, Walter Mitchell abducted his girlfriend’s child, who was only nine months old at the time.

Mitchell, who is not the biological father of the child, abducted the baby on August, 31, 1996, and successfully managed to keep himself hidden from investigators for the past eleven years.

Now the search is finally over after the FBI found Mitchell with the twelve year old boy. The kidnapper has been arrested and is awaiting his December 14th court trial.

The twelve year old victim is currently with Child Custody Services.
As in any severely traumatic situation, the child involved will need intense psychological help to cope with, and hopefully overcome all that he has been through.
