Inculcate Discipline And Strive To Work For The Country: Kiren Rijiju
New Delhi (PIB-GR-TYP-BIN): The Minister of State for Home Affairs Mr. Kiren Rijiju met a group of 14 girl students from West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh, who are on excursion tour organized by Indo Tibetan Border Police, on April 1.
During the meeting, the children shared the experience of their visit to different historical places and mentioned that they could see India’s unity in diversity.
While interacting with the children, Mr. Kiren Rijiju said that he is glad to meet the students and shared experience of his recent visit to Arunachal Pradesh. He said that the excursion tour is a good learning experience for the students and it will remain as a memorable one. The Minister said that the students should share their tour experience with family and friends, when they return.
Mr. Kiren Rijiju said that this is the age of learning and education is a powerful tool which will help them go high in the future. He advised the students to inculcate discipline and strive to work for the country. He also advised them to study well and wished them a safe return to Arunachal Pradesh after the tour.
Mr. Kiren Rijiju appreciated ITBP for organising such tours for the students from the remote regions of the country and also commended the Force’s welfare activities, apart from protecting border areas.
