An amorous couple whom were caught making out in their vehicle sped off and proceeded to cause a five car pile-up in Tanjung Agas.
It was 8.45pm on Monday when a police personnel saw the couple embracing intimately in a car in a hypermarket car park.
When the patrol car got closer they sped out of the car park towards the Muar-Tanjung Agas road.
However, the couple got into an accident with another vehicle causing three other cars to crash near the Muar bridge.
The couple, both in their 20s, were detained and the driver was fined for reckless driving. They were then referred to the district religious department.
The man works in a factory in Malacca while the woman is a private college student in Kuala Lumpur.
