Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has urged his party cadres to work hard to secure the two-third majority in the upcoming elections.
Speaking on Tuesday in Biratnagar, his home town, Koirala said that Maoists were engaged in destroying democracy.
Ventilating his wrath against the former insurgents, Koirala said that Maoists were against drafting a new constitution.
Koirala, as usual, reiterated that there would be no democracy without in Nepal without the Nepali Congress.
While talking to his party cadres in Biratnagar, Koirala added that the coalition government has no authority to carry out development activities. Its only duty is to make a new constitution and hold the fresh elections, he said.
Moreover, Koirala urged journalists to write for democracy.
