KP organizations condemns the murder of displaced Kashmiri Pandit at Jagti,Jammu

Jammu, August 05 (Scoop News)- Joint Forum of KP organisations strongly condemns the murderous assault on a member of the displaced Kashmiri Pandit family in Jagti.The heinous assault that led to the death of Tej Krishen Talashi of Jagti Camp has sent shock waves in the displaced community. It seems that the Government has forsaken the people of Jagti and left them at the mercy of criminals and goons.Leaders of the Joint Forum Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo,President Panun Kashmir,H.L.Chatta,President ASKPC,H.N.Jattu,President AIKPC,Rakesh Kaul,President Kashmiri Samiti Delhi,D.N.Kissu,President,ADKPF,Sardar Prem Singh,President,Displaced Sikh Forum and Virender Raina,Chief Spokesman Joint Forum condemn the incident in strongest possible words and demands from the Govenment to bring the culprits of the heinous act to book.

Joint forum members have been raising the issue of the lack of security in the Jagti camp at various levels with the Government and even we are in touch with the authorities to clamp down on the criminals who perpetrated the murder.As a first step a Police Post needs to be established in the Jagti township and also drop gates at the entry need to be erected to keep an eye on the nefarious and criminal elements.A review meeting of the Forum members in the next few days would have a complete relook at the entire security scenario of the Jagti camp.

Panun Kashmir Convener Dr.Agnishekhar while strongly condemned the ghastly murder of one inmate Tej Krishen Talashi of Jagti Camp yesterday by group of criminals, not yet apprehended by the police,held state Govt. squarely responsible for not providing adequate security cover to the Jagti Camp.He along with a strong cotangent of Panun Kashmir senior functionaries which included among others Sanjay Dhattatreya National Cordinator PK,Rajaje Tiku Organising secretary, Om jee Bhat,OJ Kaul,P.N.Dhar a, Maharaj Krishen and Ashok Dilber immediately rushed to Jagti to express grief and solidarity with the bereaved family and all inmates.
Dr.Agnishekhar pleaded the case on behalf of the Inmates of Jagti with the higher administrative authorities i.e. District Development Commissioner .Ajit Sahu and his team including top brass of J&K Police during the massive protest and longest ever blockade of National Highway at Nagrota Naka.Dr.Agnishekhar was mandated by the inmates of Jagti to talk with the authorities present on the site.
PK Convener put forth the following demands viz. immediate grant of exgratia amount of rupees 25 Lacs and employment to the Son of late Tej Krishen Talashi besides immediate arrest of criminals involved and proper security and intensified patrolling at Jagti camp.
