KPCC discussed international business

 

 Jammu, June 13 (Scoop News) – Kashyap Progressive Commerce and Commercial Foundation (KPCC) convener Vikram Bhat  today appreciated the J&K Chapter for furthering the programmes and polices of KPCC in Jammu and Kashmir.

KPCC held an interactive session with the successful entrepreneurs and members of Jammu chapter of KPCC to discuss the vision, mission, roadmap and key focus areas of KPCC besides the international business.

Addressing  the entrepreneurs in Jammu, KPCC convener Vikram Bhat  advised them to involve as many youngsters as possible in KPCC programmes so that future entrepreneurs are trained to take on the business world from the front.

Continuing its relentless efforts to bring the corporate investors to J&K particularly the successful sons and daughters -of-the-soil, KPCC discussed various measures taken by KPCC to attract the big investors particularly those belonging to J&K to contribute to the development f the state.

Briefing the entrepreneurs at the session the J&K Chapter head of KPCC Deepak Daftari said that KPCC was a proactive, focused and forward looking apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry registered in New Delhi with strong national and international linkages. It has been acting as a catalyst for rapid economic development and prosperity of the Jammu and Kashmir through promotion of trade, industry and entrepreneurship

KPCC having its chapters in various countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Middle East is planning to have more chapters in countries like New Zealand, Scotland, China, Tazakistan, Japan etc, said Deepak Daftari, head KPCC J&K Chapter.

Elaborating further Deepak Daftari said that Branding J&K as an International Destination, Showcasing Investment Vehicles and addressing Financial Band Width, Infrastructure, Investment Promotion, Capital Markets, Economic Affairs, Energy, Entertainment, Foreign Trade, Finance, Tourism, IT, Telecom, SME, Sports, Membership Development, International Trade, Banking & Financial Services and Environment were a few of the key focus areas of KPCC.

Briefing the members about the money invested by Corporate investors of international repute in J&K particularly Jammu on the initiatives of KPCC, Deepak Daftari listed a few examples which include, IT, Hotels etc.  

Giving some examples of a few of Jammu based community members having business in different trades: Hira Kaul (Service Industry), Anoop Bhan (Contracting), Rakesh Bhatt (Carpets), Sunil Sahib (Soil Testing), Sujay Trisal (Modular Furniture) Sandeep Bhatt (Telecom Infrastructure), Asheem Khuda (Solar Power) etc.

Those who attended the meet besides Vikarm Bhat, Deepak Daftari and Er Rohit Pandita include Surender Ambardar, Anoop Bhan, Asheem Khuda, King C Bharati, Avtar Bhat, Rockey Pandita, Sandeep Bhat, Anil Reshi, Amit Dassi, Veer Saraf and Rohit Bhat

The members resolved to continue their efforts in strengthening the KPCC in Jammu and elsewhere extending their full support to the unique initiatives of KPCC.
