Jammu, April 12 (Scoop News)- Various organisations of Kashmiri Pandit community continue their protests in Jammu against the separatists and some main stream political parties ,opposed to the idea of creation of a “composite township” in the Kashmir valley for the displaced people.
All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) has strongly condemned the statements of Er Rasheed seeking apology from Kashmiri Pandits for leaving Kashmir and Mustafa Kamal of National Conference (NC) for holding Jagmohan responsible for Pandits exodus and castigated both the leaders for doing politics on the blood of Kashmiri Pandits.
In a strong worded statement issued here Vinod Pandit, Chairman APMCC has said that the statements were condemnable and instead these leaders must apologize from the Pandit community for their irresponsible utterances.
He said that Pandits were outraged by these statements from main stream politicians who act more loyal than the king for Kashmiri separatists.
Coming down heavily on the leaders King Bharati, National Spokesperson APMCC termed Er Rasheed a shameless person who can stoop to any level to remain in news adding he should apologize for his foolish statements.
Bharati also castigated Mustafa Kamal of NC for holding Jagmohan responsible for Kashmiri Pandits exodus saying NC must introspect and remember that it was NC that left Kashmiris in lurch by running away from the government at the peak of militancy.
He asked Er Rasheed to explain to the people how he befools Kashmiri Muslims by his double standards by first getting elected to Assembly and taking oath on Indian constitution to protect the sovereignty and integrity of India and then praises separatists and Pakistan.
Calling such people as Pakistani agents in Indian disguise he said that if Er Rasheed has so much love for separatists and Pakistan why does he seek election under Indian constitution and why doesn’t he resign from the membership of the assembly and formally join Hurriyat Conference adding this was the person who supported Indian National Congress candidate in Rajya Sabha but back home castigates same Indian parties to befool his voters.
Bharati said that it was only to remain in news that Er Rasheed shoots from the hip without realizing the consequences of his utterances adding NC’s Mustafa Kamal was also doing same thing to come out of political wilderness and asked him whether it was Jagmohan who announced from Mosques on the intervening night of January 18 and 19, 1990 asking Pandits to leave Kashmir within twenty four hours besides numerous front page advertisements in local newspapers threatening Pandits if they stay back.
He also wondered the memory loss of these leaders who forgot that Tikal Lal Taploo, Pt Prem Nath Bhat and hundreds others were killed by militants only because of their faith.
Protest rally was held by Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) at Jagti Jammu which was led by Shadi Lal Pandita its president. The protestors torched the effigies of Hurriyat leaders including Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Yasin Malik and Umar Farooq.
The protestors also condemned the statements of some anti Hindu organizations opposing the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in the township in Valley. While addressing the protestors Pandita demanded that satellite townships in Valley be immediately set up for rehabilitation of displaced Pandtis.
He said that separatists and militants have no right in deciding on rehabilitation of Pandits and community has every right to return to their homeland.
All Displaced Kashmiri United Forum while discussing the current scenario in the State in a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of D N Kissu has expressed serious concern over the statement of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed that Pandits will not be settled at a single place in a concentrated form.
The meeting said it reveals that CM has obliviously succumbed to the pressure of secessionist elements over the settlement of KPs.
The meeting said KPs are the torch bearers of the composite culture of Kashmir and with their exodus Kashmir has become a monolithic descent. The community is no more prepared to offer themselves as guinea pigs for further experimentation to revive the so called composite culture of Kashmir.
Kashmir Samiti Delhi (KSD) has also strongly condemned the Islamic elements, fundamentalists and JKLF leader Yasin Malik for creating hurdles in settlement of Pandits in Valley. KSD president, Vijay Raina said that separatists have forgotten that Kashmir belongs to Pandits.
