KPSS appeals Kashmiri Muslims to save Religious Places in Kashmir & keep spirit of Kashmiriyat alive

Srinagar, February 17 (Scoop News) –Kashmiri Pandit Sangarsh Samiti (KPSS) has alleged that the J&K State administration especially revenue Department is working as the instruments of Anti Kashmiri Pandits, Anti Society and Anti National elements.

In a statement, KPSS takes strong note about the recent development regarding the Shri Ganesh Temple, Sonwar, Srinagar, in Kashmir. Sanjay K. Tickoo, President KPSS alleged in statement that how the revenue  department is working in hand in glove with the un-scrupulous elements in vandalizing the religious property of the Kashmiri Pandit Community damaging the over all social fabric of the society in general and the very existence of the Miniscule Minority of the Valley in particular.The non-state subjects alongwith one ex-militia turned temple broker namely Sharief Beigh of Hizbul Mujahideen is trying to sell / lease the property of the temple. Even some persons (Non-State Subjects) in the shape of Sadhus are trying to change the title of the temple and its property by corrupting the concerned Revenue Officials. This ex-militant turned into broker in the temple land mafia is involved in many other sale and leases of other temples in the Valley. Even after repeated complaints against the said person and his allies the State Government especially Revenue and Police Departments do nothing, reasons best known to them. The said person is the one of the main suspect and main lead to the temple land mafia in the Valley. Even with the help of said person some other non-state subjects (Sadhus) are trying to mutate the temple property in their name with the help of the concerned officials of the Revenue Department.

Statement said that  if Article 370 is in force then how the State Administration and State Judiciary allow the sale / lease of the temple properties in the Valley done by the non-State Subjects. Even the Government has already restricted the same by order no. Rev/MR/124 of 2008 dated 16.04.2008. This is clear conspiracy done by the State Government Judiciary against the Kashmiri Pandit Community.

 In a appeal KPSS request the Majority Community of the Kashmir Valley,to come forward and save our Religious Places from these Anti Kashmiri Pandit and Anti Social elements of the Valley and keep the spirit of Kashmiriyat alive in true sense.
