Bangalore: Anil Kumble, The Indian skipper expressed he was very positive and optimistic about the recovery from the sholder injury which kept him 103 minutes off field on the first test match @ Bangalore. “The shoulder is getting better. There is still three more days to go for the next Test and we are monitoring it closely,” said the Indian skipper after the match in the interview.
The Rival team Captain, Ricky Ponting said that he and his men were able to negotiate Kumble’s guiles.
“Anil knows how to bowl on these pitches and it is his home ground and to negate him was a big plus.
“I had a word with Anil and he said it (the shoulder) had something like tendinitis but he did not seem concerned and seemed fine,” said Ponting.
