Lagos police drills 2 suspects over assassination of a doctor

Two suspected assassins are now telling the police the role they played in the brutal assassination on Easter Monday of a medical doctor in Agege area of Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
Our reporter learnt that the build-up to this stage began on that fateful Monday at about 7am, when the suspects on motorcycle stormed the clinic of Dr Samuel Adeboyega, located at No, 13 Ogundele Street, Agege, Lagos, allegedly dragged him on the floor and eventually shot him and immediately fled the area.
The medical doctor was rushed to Orile Agege General Hospital after bleeding for sometimes and was allegedly refused treatment, since there was no police report on the incident, a family member of the deceased disclosed. He was said to have died, while the matter was still being sorted out.
Our reporter learnt that the previous day, which was Sunday, the doctor delivered a woman of her baby, but the woman sadly died. Rattled by the incident, the husband of the unidentified woman was said to have stormed the hospital that same Sunday with suspected thugs on motorbikes, allegedly threatening to deal with the doctor.
