At least 30 concertgoers lost their eyesight up to 80% when laser falls on them during Aquamarine Music Festival held in Kommersant on July 5, a Russian newspaper, Kommersant daily reported.
About 20 concertgoers were under treatment in different hospitals of Moscow.
The sufferers are mostly young and between the ages of 16 and 30 years.
According to concertgoers, the dance floor was covered with canopy as sky was raining.The lasers are pointed horizontally, which caused the injuries.
"After five or ten minutes on the dance field, I couldn’t see anything," a young man, pictured wearing sunglasses, told NTV television. "I could see out of my left eye, but my right eye is all fog."
Some video camera of mobile phone burnt when laser fall on it.
One doctor told Kommersant daily that most of victims are with burnt retina with scars on them.
