Pakistan’s ruling party PPP has sought India’s support for its move to demand a UN-led probe into assassination of former Premier Benazir Bhutto, saying that it would be a ‘monument in history’ if the two countries come together on a resolution in the world body.
The request for India’s support was conveyed by the PPP chairman Asif Ali Zardari to visiting India’s External affairs minister Pranab Mukherjee who was in Islamabad to review the Composite Diologue process with his Pakistani counterpart, also met the country’s top political leadership.
