CHITRAL: Information Secretary of Lawari Tunnel Action committee Haji Muhammad Shifa alleged that  some hiding hands are busy to fail PPPP government and to eradicate it from Chitral. He said these conspiracy minded people are trying to fail and defame Pakistan Peoples Party by not allowing Chitral people through the tunnel. He said while talking to local journalists that first phase of Lawari Rail tunnel (excavation) have been completed and NHA high ups had assured that Lawari tunnel would be open for Chitral people temporarily and they will use it for a few hours a day. But the plan was failed due to not giving its credit to PPPP government he alleged. And that is why the tunnel was not opened for general public with one or other pretext as a result Chitral people facing 4 million of loss daily. He said that now the people of Chitral are compelled to travel via Kunar Afghanistan by spending more fare (money) and more charges for carrying their luggage. Comparison fare via Lawari tunnel and Afghanistan he said that passengers are facing to pay rupees 1200 for one side while they can travel by paying only 500 only via Lawari tunnel. He proposed that if the authority deal an agreement with Sambu company to pay them 100000 daily in case of traveling through the tunnel so we can save 3.90 million on daily basis.  He alleged that Federal Minister communication Dr Arbab Alamgir was also misguided by not allowing Chitral passengers through the tunnel. He warned that if Chitral passengers were not allowed through the tunnel vote bank of PPPP would be decreased and PPPP would be eradicated from Chitral.
