Leh-Kargil Victim of discrimination-BJYM

Kargil,April 28(Scoop News)- Launching the door to door campaign in Kargil City, Youth wing of the BJP urged the people to vote for BJP in the Lok Sabha elections and strengthen the hands of Narinder Modi.

Led by the BJYM State president Ravinder Raina, large number of youth participated in door to door campaign and seek votes for its Ladakh parliamentary Candidate Thupstang Chhewang.

Addressing the youth at Lal Chowk-Kargil, Ravinder Raina termed Congress and the National Conference (NC) anti-Ladakh as they scuttle the genuine demand of the oppressed, suppressed, economically ignored and politically marginalized people of Kargil and Leh. He said time and again BJP demanded UT Status for Ladakhis so that they become master of their own destiny and shape their political and economic future themselves within India and under the Indian Constitution but the NC-Congress coalition government always opposed such a move.

Raina said NC-Congress always betrayed the people of Ladakh and Ladakhi leadership and did nothing for the betterment of the region though people of Leh and Kargil voted for Congress in Hill development elections. He urged the youth to punish punish the Congress in the coming election by voting and supporting the BJP. He further said said the people of Ladakh, who remain cut off from rest of the world for months together every year, deserve a special treatment and special economic and developmental package for the all round development of the region. Raina said the youth of the region are the worst Victim of the discrimination as there is PSC examination centre. No university, no IIT institution and said that BJP after coming to power will develop a special policy for Ladakh to end the injustice with the most nationalist people of the State. Prominent among those who participated door to door Campaign were BJYM leaders Hussain Pasha, Maqbool Hussain, Hussain Baba, Khadim Hussain, BJP district president Kargil Haji Khudam, Subhan Jaffari, Bilal Ahmed and Lama Paljore.
