Leopard injuries minor girl in Kupwara,Kashmir

Srinagar, March 17 (Scoop News) – A girl was injured when a leopard attacked her in North Kashmir’s Kupwara District last evening.

According to Police a  Seven years old girl Zamrooda daughter of Ghulam Hassan Mir resident of Mergi, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Lalpora, Kupwara was critically injured when a Lion entered the village and attacked her. The injured girl was shifted to Srinagar Hospital for treatment.   

 

Lady dies mysteriously in Srinagar

A lady died in suspicious circumstances in Srinagar last evening.

A 32 years old Rehana wife of Reyaz Ahmad died in suspicious circumstances in her in-laws home at Shamswari, in the jurisdiction of Police Station M.R Gung, Srinagar.  Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.

 

 

Man injured, house damaged in Fire

One person was injured and a residential house damaged in fire in Parimpora area of Srinagar District last evening.

Fire broke out in the joint residential house of Ghulam Mohammad Mir and Nisar Ahmad Mir sons of Mohammad Jaffar Mir resident of Gund Hasibut, in the jurisdiction of Police station Parimpora, Srinagar, resulting in complete damage to the house. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and local Police. In the incident Ajaz Ahmad Mir son of Late Ali Mohammad resident of Gund Hasibut received burn injuries. The injured was shifted to JVC Hospital, Bemina for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.

 

4 injured in road mishaps

Four persons were injured in two separate road accidents in the valley.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03A/5133 hit and injured 26 years old Sahzia Akhter daughter of Qasim Shah resident of Kamliwan, Nagabal near Seer Hamdan, in the jurisdiction of Police station Mattan, Anantnag. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment. Mattan Police has registered a case in this regard.

          Meanwhile, a Tipper bearing registration number JK01F/1994 rammed into an eclectic pole near Ahan, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to tree persons boarded in the vehicle. All the injured have been shifted to Hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
