Jammu ,February 22, (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Unit of Bharatiya Janata yuva Morcha on Saturday protested in demand of the implementation of 22nd February 1994 Parliament’s unanimous resolution on Pakistan Occupied Jammu & Kashmir including Gilgit-Baltistan, and Aksachin. Large number of BJYM activists gathered at Maharaja Hari Singh Statue near Twai Bridge Jammu, having banners and the BJP flags in hands BJYM activists demanded immediate implementation the Parliament’s resolution on PoJK . They raised the Slogans like ‘ Liberate PoJK from Pakistan, “implement Parliament’s resolution” “ No Compromise with territorial integrity of the India. PoJK is integral part of India,
Addressing the protesters BJYM State incharge and Sr.BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi said “it is the indecisiveness on the part of Indian political leadership that even after the passage of a period twenty years, country has not been able to implement the Parliament resolution of 1994 by taking back PoJK from Pakistan and China.He said our brave soldiers are capable of liberating PoJK from Pakistan and China but they are not backed by the assertive political leadership of the country. He said the people of Gilgit -Baltistan which is a part of J&K, are facing atrocities and human rights violations through the hands of Pakistan. They have many expectations from India and look towards it with great hope for help but unfortunately our government did not raised the matter at international level.
Addressing the activists BJYM State President Ravinder Raina said 20 years have passed since the resolution passed by the parliament to liberate the areas of Jammu and Kashmir Which is in the illegal possession of Pakistan and China but no action is taken against Pakistan and China to Vacate our territory from the possession of Pakistan and China in last twenty years. He said out of 2,22,236 sq kms of the J&K state, 78,114 sq kms of the state is under illegal occupation of Pakistan, 37,555 sq kms under illegal occupation of China and 5,180 sq kms have been illegally handed over to China by Pakistan and On 22nd February 1994, India parliament unanimously passed a resolution that firmly declares that – (a) The State of Jammu & Kashmir has been, is and shall be an integral part of India and any attempts to separate it from the rest of the country will be resisted by all necessary means; (b) India has the will and capacity to firmly counter all designs against its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity; and demands that – (c) Pakistan must vacate the areas of the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir, which they have occupied through aggression; and resolves that -(d) all attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of India will be met resolutely. He said it is a matter of shame that instead of getting back our government on many occasions enjoys“Barayani” with Pakistani leaders. Raina said “it our duty to protect the territorial integrity of our Nation and government to take all possible steps to liberate PoJK from Pakistan and China.
