Liberty For People After Freedom From Bondage Of Sin

People often wonder in their life when and if a “true” liberty in life is possible and what they have to do to achieve it. It’s my opinion that all people who live in sin are under the bondage of sin and Jesus Christ was sent by God from Heaven to earth to die for people’s sin and to establish a way He could redeem them from sin and set them free from it.

People must be brought out from under the dominion of sin that has taken over their life; and through the acceptance of Jesus Christ into their life and by acknowledging and accepting Him as their Lord and Savior they become free to receive liberty in life. They are new creatures with a new beginning in life released from the bonds of sin.

My belief is based on the Holy Bible, King James Version, and in the New Testament in Romans 6: 16, 17, 18, it tells people, “Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness.”

In reading and studying the Bible I believe in its context and in the reality of the Gospel; to obtain an understanding how the redemption, or liberation, takes place, it must be understood in unison by the body of Christ today.

In the New Testament in 2 Cor. 3: 17 – 18, people are given clarity in answering how the redemption, or buying back from bondage takes place in the life of a person because it tells them, “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. But they all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Jesus went back to Heaven “in His name” when He returned to the Father; and after He ascended to Heaven He sent back the Holy Ghost in His stead, and this meant the Holy Ghost was the only entity in the world representing Jesus. Neither Jesus nor God is in the world today but the Holy Ghost is here. Jesus is at the right hand of the Father, who is in Heaven. The Holy Ghost remains here on earth to represent Jesus and the Father since He went away and sent the Holy Ghost back here.

In the New Testament and in John 14: 23 it tells people, “Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

In 2 Cor. 3: 17, as it states, wherever the Spirit of God is, there is Liberty. This tells people when a person receives the Spirit of God into their life; they’re delivered from the bondage and dominion of sin, and are thus enabled to stay that way by means of the power of God.

People need to give praise to God for the holy reality that they are delivered from the power of sin that held them in deep bondage and which released them from the huge grip of Satan and for being liberated from the sins in their life.

People as “they” accept Jesus Christ into their lives as their Lord and Savior they’re to walk in a different direction in their life; and it tells them in the New Testament and in Galatians, “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”

People are to get “rid” of the old and replace it with new in their life and live each day as Christ would have them live. It tells them in the Old Testament and in Isaiah 61: 1, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”

When people are forgiven of their sins it tells people in the New Testament and in John 14:26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

People who have committed themselves to Christ will learn from God’s word and through communication and prayer with Him. God’s word will guide people in the right paths in their life and the Holy Ghost (as stated in above paragraph) will be there also to help them along their journey. There will be trials and tribulations in life but in Christ they’ll prevail and find a new life through God’s word of teachings.

People are to strive for the liberty they’ve been granted and it should consist of holiness; and the faith, love and peace of God in their lives. They’re to endeavor to keep their liberty and to preserve it unto life eternal and to do this they’ll have to fight to keep a spiritual love in their hearts, hope, faith, peace and love of their fellowmen. They must keep their minds and souls in tune with God’s Almighty Word and forbid of the bad fruits in life that cause them to commit sin. And to remember, in the New Testament and in Rom. 12: 21, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Amen
