It was certainly one of the strangest videos I ever seen. A Libyan fighter uses what looks like in line skates to skid across a kill zone during a fire fight. All the while firing his AK-47.
Kill zones are those areas that are open to enemy fire.
In military tactics, the kill zone, also known as killing zone, is an area entirely covered by defensive fire, an element of ambush within which an approaching enemy force is trapped and destroyed.
In most cases you run as fast as you can through these areas because you want to lesson the time you are exposed as a target to someone trying their best to gun you down.
Its basically that simple.
I showed the video around to some people who thinks its funny . What do you think?

I suppose there is a certain degree of logic in their thinking that a man skating across an area can travel faster than a man running that same distance. If not there are certainly health benefits associated with in line skating.
In line skating was found to be more beneficial than running and cycling (anaerobically speaking). I guess the verdict is still out whether or not skating around with in line skates are a good idea when your in combat?
