Poetry From The Heart
People worry about “little things” in life
emits fretting and fetching diurnal strife.
“Little things” alarm and lead to sickness
impulsive worries after finding a brown tick.
“Little things” come in packages lightens up faces
odd-shaped boxes wrapped in bows of fancy laces.
People cross out “little things” they come across every day
needed to be tended before a romp and crave for play.
“Little things” often whispered in ears at night
oft times ignored for fear they’ll cause a fight.
“Little things” to children… important as can be
people ought to listen, allow them to talk and be free.
“Little things” are important, requires to be done
don’t tuck them in a closet, finding them “no” fun.
“Little things” might be a matter of lives or deaths
end them to preserve a person’s life at its best.
“Little things” may not be significant to those met
but, they add up to consequences; often a threat.
