WWF-Pakistan & Livestock Department Chitral
Chitral: world Wide Fund For nature (WWF) Pakistan Field Office Chitral arranged two days Livestock vaccination drive in Laspur Valley of Chitral with Collaboration of Livestock Department Chitral. The Main objective of this vaccination is drive is to protect the livestock of the area from different ailments said Mr. Shafiqullah Khan Field Biologist of WWF-Pakistan Chitral. During the campaign two thousands goats and sheep’s has been vaccinated conformed by Mr. Niazuddian, VA, Livestock Department Chitral. The Vaccines was provided by Livestock Department Chitral and facilitation was provided by WWF-Pakistan Chitral. A recent research revealed that about 15 % Livestock mortality is consequence of predators and 35 % of the livestock mortality is in result of different diseases and in time vaccination will save the livestock’s quoted by Mr. Khan.
