Abdul Rehman was elected as Zakat Chairman for upper Chitral.
CHITRAL: A meeting comprising over chairmen local Zakat committees was held here at Beyar Local support Organization (BLSO) office Booni some 75 KM from here under the chair of District Zakat Chairman Muhammad Ismaeel . The participants discussed various issues and problems of inhabitants of upper Chitral. As there was no Chairman nominated for upper Chitral as a result people were facing great problems. They suggested different names of good character for electing as chairman zakat upper Chitral. All the members elected Abdul Rehman as Chairman Zakat committee upper Chitral. On this occasion district Zakat chairman also distributed some cheques among the deserving people of Booni. Shujat Ali Khan Manager BLSO thanked all participants and chairmen zakat committees for solving long awaited problem of dwellers of upper Chitral.
