Ramban, June 03, (Scoop News)-The Logo for the three-day “Ramban Youth cum Cultural festival 2014” starting from June 7 was released here today by 23 RR Rajput which is organising the event in collaboration with the Ramban district administration.
The Festival that would continue till 9th of June would feature a variety of Cultural events, awareness programmes, adventurous and sports events. A large number of youth from across every nook and corner of the district are participating in the festival.
The Youth festival shall start on 7th of June with the Adventure activity and Environment awareness programme including Mini Marathon, Para motoring Demo, Paint Ball shooting competition, Tree plantation, Cleanliness drive and Trekking & Rock craft.
The 2nd day of the Mela would be Awareness drive on adverse effects of alcohol and drug addiction and importance of education.
On the concluding day of the festival, the youth of` the district shall be exposed to stalls established by various employment generating departments to educate the former about the self employment schemes.
The information to be provided would be about prospects in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Scheme Udaan, IT sector , besides information about employment in Banks, Insurance, Driving, ect. The youth would also get information about employment avenues offered by Horticulture department through its various schemes.
