John Gallaher, 24, called police at around midnight on Monday night saying he had just murdered two people in his house. When police arrived they found Lori Fioravanti, 24, and Sean Gallagher, 23, shot in the head and killed. Gallagher and Gallaher were not related.
Police don’t know what drove John Gallaher to shoot Lori Fioravanti and Sean Gallagher. Gallaher is currently being held without bail at Forsyth County Detention Center.
Gallaher has a history of violence in his life. His father committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a shotgun and his sister was raped, beaten and left for dead in a forest. She lived but was permanently disabled from her ordeal.
Lori Fioravanti and Sean Gallagher worked together and were well liked from all descriptions of them. Sean Gallagher leaves behind two small children.
