Love Doesn’t Punish It Offers Sacrifice

Poetry From The Heart

Love isn’t abuse and a life of scorn
it’s a beautiful flower to be adorned.
Its pureness is as silver and gold
with a solid foundation built to hold.
Love is laughter in sickness and health
even if one’s poor or has a lot of wealth.

Love doesn’t punish it offers sacrifice
giving of oneself regardless of strife.
Love feels the beauty in a person’s soul
holds onto it until they both grow old.
It breathes of bonding one to the other
sealing their bodies to cling together.

Love won’t vanish when things go wrong
it pushes aside errors to be strong.
It’s armor robust and made to last
desires and drives regardless of a test.
There’s wisdom in the ideas to share
look for scars that might cause it to tear.

Love is everlasting with warmth and wishes
it builds over time to expose our intentions.
It doesn’t lie nor does it hide misfortunes
love shares living in important devotions.
It provides respect, honesty, sincerity and hope
to keep love connected in everything to cope.
