Love here is a definition of Love. My Dad told me love is sacrifice. And what would I be willing to sacrifice for Love?
God sacrificed His only son that who so ever believes in Him will not die but have life ever everlasting. John 3:16
This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you. John 15:12-14.
What was the command? Love one another.
I believe that when John the Baptist seeing Jesus coming unto him, and said,
Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. John 1:29.
When Jesus died on the cross he said it is finished, John 19:30
He took away the sin of the world. There is no more sin save one.
Whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Matthew 12:32
Speaking against the Holy Spirit is denying God sent His only son to suffer and die on a cross for all mankind that is the unforgivable sin. Committing sins is rebellion against God and doing the things we should not do, but we do, do as the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
We are no longer under the law but under Grace.
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Romans 11:6.
This of course does not give us free Rhine to go out and do whatever we want, because when we are living for God we do not want to bring dishonor to God. However when we slip and fall to sin we have an advocate.
My little children, these things I write unto you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 1 John 2:1-3
I believe that every person born to this earth has their name written in the Lambs book of life.
Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord Acts 3:19
It is only when a person who does not come to repentance and does not accept Jesus as Lord and is not converted that their name is blotted out of the book. I say this because I refuse to believe our all Loving Father casts out all the unborn babies that have been aborted and never had the chance to convert and believe. Our God is a giver of life not a taker of life.
Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Romans 8:34-36
I believe God loves each and every human on the earth and He wants fellowship with us, so he made a way for us to have fellowship with Him through Jesus Christ. Who laid down His life for us. Now that’s love.
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8-10
