Jammu and Kashmir: Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) Distributors Federation in an emergency meeting put forth demands to Jammu and Kashmir Government for immediate redress. The demands include increase in home delivery charges @ Rs 35 per cylinder in rural areas mainly out of Municipal areas. They said that as the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh are already extending such benefits to distributors.

Among main demands include viability of 8000 o 15000 distributions in the existing areas of appointed areas. As per orders existing only 8800 viabilities are allowed to refill for any distributor. The meeting was attended by State President Haryana, Satvinder Singh, State President Punjab, Gulpal Singh, State President Mr Khana (UT), J&K Zonal Convener Shaikh Fida Hussain and Trustee Mr Mukesh Budresh MWR.
