M.Ali Subadar passes away

 

Subadar Muhammad Ali of Ayun passes away.

 

CHITRAL: Muhammad Ali Subadar Border Police lost his breath by hear attack. Muhammad Ali was serving Subadar in Chitral Border Security Force (Border Police). He fell ill on Wednesday night and was feeling pain in his chest he was rushed to Chitral hospital on Thursday early in the morning but he expired on his way before reaching to hospital. He was youngest brother of DSP retired Rahat Ali and Hasrat Ali Inspector in PIA. He was laid to rest at his ancestral grave yard at Ayun village. A large number of people belongings to all walks of life including district Nazim Chitral Haji Maghfirat Shah, District Coordination Officer Kamran Rahman Khan, former MNA Maulana Abdul Akbar, Ameer Jamat Islami Maulana Ghulam Muhammad etc also attended his funeral prayer.

 

Qaghlasht Festival on April 25.

Qaghlasth which was likely was to start on April 11 but due to continue rain and bad weather it was postponed to April 18. Hence due to some administrative problems Qaghlasht festivals was delayed and now it will be started from April 25 which will be continue to April 27. Besides different games, culture show, folk dance, musical concert and other colorful programs will be arranged during the 3 days festival. The festival will be celebrated on the slope desert of Qaghlasth situated on mountain area of Booni. It is expected that a large number of domestic and foreigner’s tourist will arrive Chitral to enthrall from this festival. Chitral Association for Mountain Area Tourism (CAMAT) Manager Shamsuddin said. “We conducting such colorful programs for promoting of Eco-tourism in Chitral Shamsuddin said.

 

 

74053 Children were vaccinated in Chitral during 3 days door to door drive.

CHITRAL: some 74053 children were administered polio drops during three days door to door anti polio drive Dr. Inayauttallah said while briefing local journalists. He said that heal team was given a target of 75682 population (children below the age of 5 years) and they administered polio drops to children 74053. As 3728 were miss children whose had not administered polio drops but 1892 children were covered during the campaign (Catch up and sweeping days.  Hence some 550 children are still missing in the district as their parents have traveled to down districts. He said health teams left no stone unturned to declare Chitral a Polio Free District he added.
