Madonna adoption process not through-Government
The process of adopting David by Madonna the international singer is not yet through although the international press say everything is finished ,Ministry of community development and Social welfare in Malawi has confirmed.
Officials from the Ministry say it is a long process to fully adopt a child from Malawi.
“It requires monitoring as well as other requirements to be fulfilled. We are still processing the papers and the process is going on well, said the officials.
Madonna, who is regarded as a hero in Malawi adopted David and has build a big orphan care in Central Malawi.
He is meanwhile raising funds for Malawi to help destitute children under the umbrella of Raising Malawi.
He came to Malawi last year to see for himself the progress of her project which has attracted much attention in this Southern African country.
