Qari Jamal Abdul Nasir of JUI while talking this scribe said that I time and again brought into the notice this issue of National Highway Authority (NHA) but no action was taken so far they did not remove the debris from main road and the road is till close for traffic. Light vehicles passing through a very narrow and dangerous way on the bank of Chitral River through Ayun village to reach Chitral instead of main road. Qari Jamal Nasir warned it the road was not opened until Saturday he will fully agitate and public of Chitral and Drosh will come on roads to protest against apathy of concerned department.
Torkho Telephone Exchange damaged by miscreants.
Repeater station and Telephone Exchange of Torkoh at Ghordamirap was damaged by unknown miscreants at night time as a result 350 consumers were deprived from telephone facility. As there is no watchman for night duty in the said telephone exchange and repeater station. Some unknown persons enter in repeater station and damaged machineries installed there. They also took precious batteries and other equipment. As a result PTCL faced heavy loss. It is worth to mention here that telephone lines at some area are continuously faulty and out of order consumers of Torkoh and other area warned so many times for disconnecting their telephone connections and submitting telephone sets at Exchanges. It seems that some anger consumers have damaged the telephone exchange after frustrating from PTCL performance which is very poor. Hence reasons behind this act could ascertained by concerned authority.
