“Manil Suri launched his second book :The Age Of Shiva !”

      Manil Suri, a US based Indian writer has launched his second book,’The Age of Shiva’ in India, published by Bloomsburry, distributed in India,by Penguin books, India.The book is more than a personal story of a woman caught in a society in flux.

    Manil Suri is a mathematician by profession, residing at Washington D.C,in the US,well known as a writer.But he is not a prolific writer.He took nearly seven years to complete his latest second book ,’the Age of Shiva’, his first work was, ‘the Death of Vishnu’. 

   According to Manil Suri, ‘writing is a lonely process.’When we call him a man of inconsistancies, he prefers to call his characters inconsistant.Talking of blending,Manil also brings the mundane and the sensual or the erotic closer.
