Mansions Built and Consecrared in Love

Poetry From The Heart

There sits a mansion on a hill… it’s our home
where lilies bloom, lush grows and cattle roams.
Stones positioned and sanctified in love
happiness shared with kisses and hugs.
The mansion shared reveals dedication and care
a family blessed with favors beyond compare.

Branches grow to bring overall success
weeds launch an attack to ruin and test.
The stones begin to plummet and deteriorate
fences require repair…not even a gate.
Wrangles leave the home cold and alone
discontent steals love throughout the home.

Triumphs can rob and destroy a foundation
as materialism and bickering grasps its tradition.
A home requires tender attention and care
occupants can lose sight of love they’ve shared.
A mansion on a hill built and consecrated in love
will last forever when guided by God above.
