Nepal’s Prime Minister and Chairman of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal Maoist (UCPN) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda said on Wednesday that his party would always oppose feudalism and imperialism.
While handing over his party’s suggestions to the Constitutional Committee in Kathmandu, Prachanda said that Nepal still faces suppression from foreign powers and semi-colonialism.
He, however, elicited that being opposed to feudalism and imperialism would never mean being undemocratic. He expressed his party’s commitment to the principles of pluralism.
