Frederic Dupoux, a photojournalist in Haiti, reported today that some markets have reopened in the disaster-ravaged country. Dupoux has tirelessly documented his observations via Twitter, the microblogging platform, as he moves around the region.
Today, Dupoux noted that two markets had re-opened on Tabarre and Frere streets, providing crucial relief information.
Uploading images to an application called TweetPhoto, Dupox broadcast the message that, "Street market is working on frere for the second day." He later added that, "Universal super market is open on tabarre."
