Martyrs Remembered

New Delhi/J&K: Vasundhara Enclave Kashur Milchar, Delhi organized
a simple function to commemorate the martyrdom day of  Shaheed Capt. Sameer Bhan this year on his
ninth death anniversaryAT Shaheed Capt. Sameer Bhan Marg, Vasundhara Enclave,
Delhi.  Saheed Capt. Sameer Bhan was a resident
of Vasundhara Enclave and died this day in year 2002 while gallantly fighting
insurgency in North-East of India.

Kashmiri biradhari members and residents of Vasundhara
Enclave from all walks of life including office bearers of Joint Forum, Traders
Associations and most of Hosing Societies of area attended function to remember
him after pay homage to him and all other martyrs who laid down their lives for
safety,            security and sovereignty of motherland. Two
minutes silence was observed and floral tributes were paid to Martyrs by gathering.

M.K.Bhat, President of Kashur Milchar while expressing
his gratitude to all those who attended function, thanked Vinod Kumar Binny,
local Municipal Councilor for getting memorial renovated. Binny said “this is
an extremely important day, because ultimately we believe that, whatever we
have achieved in past and whatever we will continue to achieve in future, will
mainly be as a result of the sacrifices of our martyrs”. He further assured
that a favorable decision on Kashur Milchar’s request for naming one of parks
in Vasundhara Enclave after
Shaheed Capt. Sameer Bhan would be taken very soon by Municipal Corporation of
Delhi. Meanwhile, similar programmes were held in Jammu and Kashmir at various
migrant camps to remember martyr Bhan.
