Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance in a press release issued today condemns criminal attack in Paris, offers her condolences to French people and government.
At least two gunmen attacked the headquarters of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, on Wednesday, January 7 at 11:30. Twelve people died according to the prosecution and six seriously injured. Two policemen were among the dead. The attackers are on the run.
Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that the Iranian people and their resistance stand with the French people and the bereaved families of the victims in these difficult moments.
She added that attack on citizens and the innocent, especially reporters, upon whatever pretext or reason is a terroristic crime in blatant contradiction to the teachings of Islam that is far from these kinds of atrocities.
